Amarillo units sent to help with Texas Hill Country flood response

Texas Hill Country wineries are beginning cleanup after severe flooding from the Pedernales River damaged property, equipment, and infrastructure. Although some vineyards experienced several feet of water, owners state most grapevines appear resilient and should recover. To support these efforts, units from Amarillo have been deployed to assist with the flood response. The region is currently focusing on assessing the total damage and restoring operational capacity for the affected winery businesses.
