Taika Waititi Says His Star Wars Movie Is 'on Ice'

Director Taika Waititi has officially confirmed that his Star Wars movie, which has been in development since 2020, is now on ice. While promoting his latest film, Klara and the Sun, Waititi informed Inverse that the project is on hold indefinitely. He stated that he and his collaborators are currently working on a different project together instead. This update marks a significant pause for the long-anticipated Star Wars entry previously linked to the director.
