‘The Cat in the Hat’ Review: Bill Hader in a Dr. Seuss Adaptation That Captures the Antic Silliness but Misses the Charm

The new animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat, featuring Bill Hader, has received split reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. While some critics praise the feature as a delightful debut, others argue it lacks charm and mimics the overstuffed scale of modern blockbusters rather than remaining faithful to the original books. The voice cast includes Quinta Brunson, Bowen Yang, America Ferrera, Giancarlo Esposito, and Matt Berry in this chaotic comedy that departs from the source material.
