Republicans rip Peltola over report her campaign recruited second Sullivan

Republicans are criticizing Alaska Senate candidate Mary Peltola following reports that her campaign attempted to recruit Daniel J. Sullivan Jr. to challenge incumbent Senator Dan Sullivan. According to The New York Times, the Peltola campaign sought an individual with the same name as the GOP opponent to influence the reelection bid. In response to these allegations, Alaskans for Mary stated that the organization has had no involvement with either of the Sullivan campaigns during the race.
