The Fitbit Edge doesn’t have NFC, and Google just revealed why

Google explained that the Fitbit Edge lacks NFC because most Fitbit Charge 6 users did not utilize the feature. Despite this omission, Google is not ruling out the inclusion of a major Pixel Watch feature for the Fitbit Edge. While the tracker currently possesses the necessary sensors to support such functionality, Google stated that its specific plans for the device are still taking shape, leaving the possibility of future updates or feature integrations open for the wearable.
