The Future of Ukraine’s Drone Democracy

President Volodymyr Zelensky signed Decree No. 835/2026 on August 26, awarding Elon Musk the Order of Freedom. This represents the highest state honor for foreign nationals in Ukraine. The decree recognizes Musk for his outstanding personal merit in protecting human life and freedom, as well as his contributions to developing relations between the peoples of Ukraine and the United States.
