The musical adaptation of Prince's 1984 feature film and Grammy-winning album Purple Rain is scheduled for a Broadway debut in 2027. Producer Orin Wolf announced that the production will premiere at New York's Majestic Theatre, with previews starting on March 12, 2027. The official opening night is set for April 12.
