RIP Trump Kennedy Center: 2025- 2026

The Trump-Kennedy Center is being reverted to its original name after U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper ruled the renaming illegal. President Trump changed the name without congressional approval late last year, but the court rejected the administration's bid to maintain it. Judge Cooper stated that the center's organic statute mandates it be named for President Kennedy. Consequently, scaffolding has been erected around the performance venue to remove the Trump branding and restore the original title.
