Last of Us Part 2 multiplayer mod ‘canceled by Sony’

Sony Interactive Entertainment has requested the cancellation of a fan-made multiplayer mod for The Last of Us 2 on PC. The modder, Speclizer, announced on social media that the project, which had been in development since January, will not be released following a formal letter from PlayStation. This decision effectively ends nine months of work on the project, which was originally scheduled for release this month after extensive development by the modding team.
