The next generation of MCP

AVIF, released by AOMedia in 2019, utilizes AV1 intra-frame coding to provide superior compression efficiency. It is 50% smaller than JPEG and 20% smaller than WebP, serving as a next-generation standard for web applications. Separately, the next version of MCP introduces a rewritten, stateless core designed for Workers. This update includes protocol upgrades, a new feature lifecycle, and an SDK migration path, with early adopters already implementing the technology within production environments.
