Apple's most advanced on-device AI model in iOS 27 requires a minimum of 12GB of unified memory, excluding the standard iPhone 17. This powerful next-generation Apple Intelligence model is available exclusively on iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air. Additionally, it supports iPads with M4 or later and Macs with M3 or later, provided they have at least 12GB of unified memory, while other AI features remain compatible with iPhone 15 Pro hardware.
