The US has been hitting Iran for weeks. Officials are only now talking about it

U.S. forces have been conducting a series of unannounced attacks against Iran for several weeks. These actions were part of a broader string of undisclosed military engagements. The delayed disclosure of these strikes highlights the strategic nature of the operations and the timing regarding the U.S. political calendar and regional security dynamics.
