Ryan Coogler’s ‘X-Files’ Reboot Picked Up to Series at Hulu

Hulu has ordered Ryan Coogler's reboot of The X-Files to series. Produced by Onyx Collective and 20th Television, this reimagining of Chris Carter's classic sci-fi drama stars Danielle Deadwyler and Himesh Patel. The plot follows two highly decorated yet vastly different FBI agents who develop an unlikely bond after being assigned to a long-shuttered division. This division is specifically devoted to investigating cases involving unexplained phenomena, bringing a fresh perspective to the original 1990s series concept.
