Thompson Island

Thompson Island was formed following the flooding of the Stillwater River in June 2022. According to the Thompson Island fact sheet, the project remains in its initial phase. Consequently, the standard procedures that involve public participation have not yet been implemented. The current status of the development indicates that the necessary regular steps for community engagement are still pending as the project continues to progress through its early stages of establishment and planning.
