Three Men Jailed for Posing as Police in $5.3M UK Crypto Fraud

Three men were sentenced to up to 11 years at Southwark Crown Court for impersonating police officers to steal over 4 million in crypto assets from UK victims. The gang utilized fake police websites to deceive targets, subsequently spending the stolen funds on luxury holidays and Rolexes. The Met confirmed the fraud totaled approximately $5.3M, leading to the imprisonment of the perpetrators for their coordinated criminal activities involving cryptocurrency theft and fraudulent impersonation of law enforcement.
