Tiger Woods Makes First Public Appearance Amid Major PGA Tour Changes

Tiger Woods made his first public appearance after a car accident to introduce a major PGA Tour structural shake-up starting in 2028. The approved two-tier system features the elite PGA Tour Championship Series from February to August, consisting of 23-24 events with $20m purses. Additionally, the Challenger Series will offer $4m events, establishing a promotion and relegation pathway for players to earn their way into the top-tier competitive series of the professional golf circuit.
