Tillis withholds Blanche vote until AG pick meets Epstein survivors

Senator Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) announced he will not vote to confirm acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to the permanent position until Blanche meets with survivors of Jeffrey Epstein's abuse. Because Todd Blanche requires the support of all Republicans to clear the Senate Judiciary Committee, a single opposing vote would prevent the nomination from advancing to the full Senate.
