Judge tosses Timothy Busfield's indictment on child sex abuse charges

District Court Judge Joseph Montano granted a motion to dismiss the grand jury indictment against Timothy Busfield. The Emmy winner faced two counts of child abuse and criminal sexual contact with a minor involving two boys on the set of The Cleaning Lady. The judge tossed the charges because prosecutors failed to act in a fair and impartial manner. While the case is currently dismissed, the District Attorney is evaluating options and prosecutors can still refile the charges.
