Apple Announces Its First Touchscreen MacBook

Apple announced its first touchscreen MacBook Pro during the Pro and Tell event in Cupertino. While the laptop maintains a design largely unchanged since 2021, it introduces a touchscreen interface. The device starts at $2,899 and utilizes the same M5 chips found in other current models, despite the higher price point. This new hardware update marks a significant shift for the MacBook Pro line, integrating touch capabilities into the professional laptop series for the first time.
