Train Ride to NASA Kennedy for Artemis III Booster Segments

On June 2, eight booster motor segments for the SLS rocket were shipped from Northrop Grumman’s Railyard Shipping Facility in Corinne, Utah. These specific components are designed to power NASA’s Artemis III mission, helping propel astronauts on their journey into space. The segments are currently being transported by train to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where they will be integrated into the Space Launch System for the upcoming lunar mission.
