Tropical storm warnings in effect from Louisiana to Texas

Tropical storm warnings are currently active from Louisiana to Texas as thunderstorms develop from a tropical depression located 100 miles off the Gulf Coast. The system is forecast to evolve into Tropical Storm Edouard by Tuesday. Consequently, Texas has mobilized flood response efforts to prepare for the expected heavy rain and flooding impacting the southeast region of the state.
