Trump berates Cornyn, Rove for not backing Paxton: ‘They are hurting Texas’

President Trump is attacking Republican Sen. John Cornyn and former White House adviser Karl Rove for failing to support GOP Senate candidate Ken Paxton. Trump claims they are hurting Texas and asserts that Cornyn and Rove are doing everything possible to undermine Paxton. Consequently, Trump has preemptively blamed both men should Paxton lose the upcoming Texas Senate race next month, specifically citing Rove for supporting a Democrat in one of the state's down-ballot contests.
