Judge rules Trump unlawfully targeted foreign students who criticized Israel

A federal judge in California ruled that the Trump administration violated the constitutional rights of international students. The court found that the administration unconstitutionally sought to deport these students and revoke their visas due to pro-Palestinian activism and criticism of Israel's war in the Gaza Strip. In a 90-page ruling, U.S. District Judge Noël Wise determined that the use of existing immigration law to target these foreign students for their political expressions was unlawful and unjust.
