Trump teases ‘Trump Reflecting Pool’ at final midterm elections event, says he’s joking

President Donald Trump used his final public appearance before the midterm elections to highlight renovations of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. During the event, Trump joked about renaming the site the Trump Reflecting Pool, stating that the administration was giving the change serious thought. This occurred while Democrats worked to manage internal divisions regarding a competitive U.S. Senate race in Michigan. The Reflecting Pool had recently reopened following several months of extensive renovation work.
