Grand jury probing Jan. 6 committee ‘star witness’ Cassidy Hutchinson: source

The DOJ is investigating former Trump White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson for allegedly lying to Congress during her 2022 testimony before the House Jan. 6 Committee. A federal grand jury was empaneled earlier this week to hear witness testimony and evidence regarding the probe. Hutchinson's previous statements to the defunct House select committee included some of the most damaging accounts concerning the actions of President Donald Trump leading up to the events of January 6.
