Trump DOJ to California: Drop the Glock Ban or Get Sued

The Department of Justice warned California that its Glock ban violates the Second Amendment. Assistant AG for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon advised Governor Newsom and AG Bonta to drop the restrictions or face a federal complaint in court. The DOJ asserts that Californians possess the constitutional right to acquire and use state-of-the-art handguns for self-protection. The federal government intends to file a lawsuit if the Golden State does not stop enforcing the current law.
