Italy’s Meloni accuses Trump of fabricating G7 photo story

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has strongly rejected Donald Trump's claim that she desperately sought a photograph with him during a G7 gathering. Meloni labeled the story as fabricated, asserting that neither she nor Italy ever begged for anything. Consequently, Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani cancelled his scheduled visit to the United States, stating Trump's offensive remarks insulted all of Italy.
