Trump shrinks South Korea war games, citing ‘very good relationship’ with Kim Jong Un

President Donald Trump has ordered the Pentagon to scale back the Ulchi Freedom Shield military exercises with South Korea. Trump stated he is not happy with the large-scale joint drills, describing them as costly and sending a signal that is totally inappropriate and hostile. He cited his very good relationship with Kim Jong-un as the reason for this decision, despite warnings from military officials that the North Korean regime is learning new battlefield tactics from the Ukraine war.
