Trump gifts Theodore Roosevelt’s Medal of Honor to presidential library

President Donald Trump traveled to North Dakota on Wednesday to tour the new Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library before its grand opening on Independence Day. The $450 million project was supported by Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and organized by Freedom 250. During the visit in Medora, Trump announced the transfer of Theodore Roosevelt’s posthumous congressional Medal of Honor, earned for bravery during the Spanish-American War, to the library as a gift for the institution.
