Apple updates Liquid Glass UI in iOS 27 with new slider to customize how it looks

Apple announced iOS 27, introducing refined updates to the Liquid Glass design language for improved readability. A new slider allows users to precisely customize transparency, ranging from opaque tinted to completely clear. Additionally, sidebar behavior is updated so they expand to the full window edge, ensuring refraction effects continue beneath them. Sidebar icons will now retain their color, addressing user feedback and modifying the underlying foundations of how the Liquid Glass interface is constructed.
