Jury trial begins for Omaha woman accused of killing two men

Legal proceedings continue in Omaha with two separate murder cases. Erika Mims faces a jury trial on two counts of first-degree murder regarding the deaths of Lamar Nedd in July 2022 and Laron Hodges in February 2023. Separately, a jury found an Omaha man guilty of first-degree murder for the April 4, 2024, shooting death of a 30-year-old man in North Omaha.
