UCP, Universal International Studios Combining Under Beatrice Springborn

NBCU is merging Universal Content Productions (UCP) and Universal International Studios (UIS) into a new combined unit named Universal Global Television (UGT). Beatrice Springborn, who previously served as president of both UCP and UIS, will lead the new entity as president. This consolidation, overseen by Pearlena Igbokwe, reduces the Universal Studio Group to three divisions and results in the elimination of 22 roles across NBC, Peacock, and TV studios, including UCP executive departures.
