Ukraine hits second Tu-95 bomber at Russian airbase

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the SBU Alpha special operations unit struck a Russian Tu-95MS strategic bomber at the Engels-2 airbase in the Saratov region. This event represents the second time in approximately six weeks that Ukrainian drones have targeted this location. Simultaneously, Russian forces have launched a second consecutive day of drone attacks against the Kyiv region, resulting in damage to various storage depots and numerous buildings across the targeted Ukrainian territory.
