UNH crews search Lake Massabesic for missing WWII B-17 ball turret

University of New Hampshire crews are searching Lake Massabesic for remnants of a World War II-era B-17 Flying Fortress ball turret. Research project manager Andy McLeod and students Ashley Riz Advincula and Tion Uriam are utilizing an autonomous mapping boat for the operation. The team employs remote controls and monitors within a research trailer to guide the vessel as it scans the lake to locate the missing historical aircraft components during this specialized research project.
