Visa works with Upbit parent on stablecoin payments, AI commerce

Visa is collaborating with Dunamu, the parent company of Upbit, to explore stablecoin payments and remittances in South Korea. This partnership focuses on AI commerce and the evaluation of several projects, including the proposed OUSD from Open Standard. By partnering with the Upbit operator, Visa is doubling down on its presence in the South Korean market to integrate advanced digital payment solutions and stablecoin technologies into the existing financial infrastructure for enhanced commerce.
