New York State HEAP Program underway

New York State is implementing the Home Energy Assistance Program, known as HEAP, to assist residents with heating their homes this winter. This initiative arrives as energy costs continue to rise, providing lower-income households with potential support exceeding $1,000. Barbara Quinn, the Commissioner of the New York State Office, is overseeing the program. Separately, residents in New York City participated in the midterm election process by casting their ballots at various polling stations on Tuesday.
