Cornyn reaches deal with Justice Department to allow Blanche nomination to advance

Senator John Cornyn has reached an agreement with the Justice Department to terminate a $1.8 billion anti-weaponization fund intended for President Trump's allies. This deal enables Cornyn to vote in favor of advancing Todd Blanche's nomination for attorney general. The Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to vote on the nomination this Tuesday.
