Usha Vance announces launch of summer reading challenge prize website

Second lady Usha Vance launched a prize website on Wednesday for children participating in her 2026 summer reading challenge. Now in its second year, the initiative aims to combat summer learning declines and encourage childhood literacy through rewards and friendly competition. Students from kindergarten onwards can access an expanded selection of prizes, featuring rewards from Walmart and Crayola, upon submitting their reading logs, providing a new incentive for students to pick up books this summer.
