The long-deployed USS Lincoln is returning home to San Diego

The USS Abraham Lincoln is returning to San Diego this Thursday following a record-long deployment supporting the Iran war. The CVN-72 aircraft carrier previously visited Laem Chabang Port in Si Racha, Thailand, on September 02, 2026, after an extended mission in the Middle East. Nearly 5,000 sailors and Marines are aboard the vessel, with personnel taking shore leave in nearby Pattaya before concluding their nearly year-long deployment and returning to their home port in San Diego.
