Airbus Valkyrie combat drone completes first European flight

Airbus and Kratos have successfully completed the first European flight of the U740 Valkyrie combat drone. During this test campaign, the demonstrator reached a speed of Mach 0.8. This milestone is designed to support the ongoing development of a European Collaborative Combat Aircraft capability. The project aims to achieve full combat readiness by 2029, marking a significant step forward in the integration of advanced unmanned aerial systems for European defense operations.
