RoomTidy: a local Gemma reminder built for my roommate

Two developers created local AI tools using Gemma for the Hacktoberfest Weekend Challenge. RoomTidy is a Windows desktop application that monitors specific areas via camera to remind roommates to remove clutter based on a saved reference. Meanwhile, SafeBite serves as an AI allergy guard for a roommate with Celiac disease, peanut allergies, and lactose intolerance. It aims to simplify the process of examining complex ingredient labels on snacks and takeout to prevent dangerous allergic reactions.
