Walt Disney Studios Promotes Melissa Stone To SVP Publicity

The Walt Disney Studios has promoted veteran publicist Melissa Stone to the position of SVP, Publicity. Previously serving as VP of Publicity, Stone will now lead the global PR strategy for Disney+, Disney Animation, Disney Live Action, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Studios. In her new executive role, Stone will report directly to Martha Morrison, who serves as the president of Studios Marketing, overseeing publicity across the studio's diverse production labels.
