Want to fly to the moon? NASA is looking for new astronauts to help grow its Artemis program

NASA is recruiting new astronauts to expand its Artemis program, which aims to return humans to the Moon and establish a lasting presence beyond low‑Earth orbit. With only 32 active astronauts currently, the agency has opened applications until December 3. The upcoming Artemis II mission will send a crew on a lunar flyby, marking the farthest human travel from Earth since the Apollo era. The call targets both experienced pilots and specialists eager to join the next generation of space exploration.
