Watchdog group sues Trump administration over Jared Kushner’s government work

A watchdog group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), filed a lawsuit on Wednesday challenging the legality of Jared Kushner's role within the Trump administration. The suit alleges that Kushner's position as a top envoy is unlawful and violates the Appointments Clause. Furthermore, the legal action claims that his current government work raises numerous conflict-of-interest concerns, seeking to bar him from occupying his position and exercising government authority in the United States.
