Recent sports events at Pinnacle Bank Arena featured various competitions involving Elkhorn South. In a Class A state tournament game on March 8, 2023, Gavin Hornbacher of Elkhorn South defended against Elijah Gaeth from Millard North. Previously, on November 9, 2018, Elkhorn South faced Waverly in semifinal play.
