Franklin Count data center development

Franklin County commissioners have unanimously voted to rezone two agricultural properties to industrial use, enabling the development of data centers. Developers are proposing a massive project in Villa Ridge, located beyond Highway 100 at Interstate 44. This planned facility would span 613 acres and requires an investment of $16 billion. The decision by the commissioners clears the legal path for this significant industrial expansion to proceed within the Franklin County region as proposed.
