Islam Makhachev Beats Machado Garry, Breaks UFC Record With Historic 17th Straight Win

Islam Makhachev defended his UFC welterweight title by defeating Ian Machado Garry, securing a historic 17th consecutive victory. Following the fight, Makhachev aligned with UFC CEO Dana White regarding his criticism of Garry. White expressed frustration over Garry's loss, specifically noting that the fighter is too nice. This record-breaking win cements Makhachev's dominance in the division while highlighting the blunt feedback from both the champion and the organization's leadership toward Garry's approach.
