5th tornado confirmed from Monday's storms

The National Weather Service confirmed a fifth tornado following Monday's storms. This EF-0 tornado touched down south of Wheaton College, featuring 75 mph winds. Additionally, widespread straight-line wind damage occurred from eastern Will and southern Cook counties into central Lake County, Indiana. Specifically, winds likely exceeded 80 mph near Beecher, Crete, and Chicago Heights. The Chicago area is now only three tornadoes away from setting a record after these five confirmed events.
