Windows 11’s latest optional update finally fixes search clutter

Microsoft released the optional KB5120998 update for Windows 11, introducing a repositionable taskbar and a tidied Windows Search. The search function now removes results from Bing, Copilot, and MSN, while prioritizing relevant results over ads and product suggestions. It also improves typo handling and result categorization for apps, settings, and files. However, despite these new features and improvements to the user interface, some users may need to roll back the update due to several glaring bugs.
