Windows BitLocker is fine. I still don’t trust it with everything

Many Windows users still lack updated Secure Boot certificates despite the June 24th update intended to resolve the issue. Microsoft stated that missing the deadline is not critical, as certificates remain obtainable. Separately, BitLocker provides built-in encryption for Windows 10 and 11 Pro to protect files from unauthorized access. Although a security researcher discovered a loophole, BitLocker remains recommended for use, especially when combined with additional applications to ensure sensitive data stays safe.
